  1. Hi Luke,

    you did some impressive dark side views and scenario shots here. The train itself however is rendered a bit too rough for my liking. The lines are very sketchy and partly wobbly. As this should be a rendering explaining the train rather than being a page for a film story board, you should aim for a very crisp train rendering which pops out from the background.

    This means, give the contour lines a bit more, clean light. clean and soften the internal part and feature lines. When rendering imagine a photographer would have set up an extra flash light to highlight the side panels. You will find this with certain car advertising photos which mix dark (night) environments with studio lighting. I think Mercedes Benz has some samples of that.
    In general, try to blend surfaces rather than draw white lines between individual panels. Using the blurring tool will be the trick I guess. Only true part lines should be hard lines.
    Despite that, good work so far.
